We maintain a member roster of more than 50 breast cancer survivors of all types. With member permission, we connect incoming members with existing members that have similar diagnosis and/or treatment. Another way we support each other is by phone and text message (with courtesy, and only when requested). We connect weekly via an email newsletter and at less formal in-person gatherings.
We’re kind, uplifting, and support each other through shared experiences, prayers, and cards. For those interested, we gather quarterly(ish) for “official” celebrations and get-togethers, and meet informally on Thursdays for lunch around town in Fort Walton Beach. Our 2022 and 2023 meetings at HCA were sparsely attended, but we are still an active and supportive group.

- In April each year, we gather in Celebration of Member Birthdays. Special recognition is given for those celebrating a birthday ending in 0 in the current year!
- In June, we gather to celebrate the birthday of the Bosom Buddies support group at Red Lobster in Fort Walton Beach.
- Late in the year we gather for Thanksgiving and a Holiday party, or (as in 2023), we celebrated with one pot luck gathering and gift exchange.

Thursday Lunch Bunch
One of our members organizes weekly informal lunches for members, friends, and caregivers. ALL are welcome (new members, guests, friends, spouses, etc.). Dine with friends, pay for your meal + tip and be nice to the wait staff please.
